This is the Front & Back covers of a counter display used by Canadian Club Whisky, who joined forces with a record company, for a promotion done in Japan. The counter display held 12 - 7” Vinyl singles (2 each by 6 artists) which a customer had a choice to choose from FREE, when buying a bottle of Canadian Club. The six artists and titles are as follows: OTIS REDDING – “The Dock Of the Bay”, CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL – “Have Your Ever Seen The Rain?”, THE PLATTERS – “Only You”, THE GLENN MILLER ORCHESTRA – “Moonlight Serenade”, LOUIS ARMSTRONG –“What A Wonderful World” and THE BEACH BOYS – “Surfer Girl” (Hite Morgan Version). All records are ONE Sided promos. Five of the six sleeves are pictured. All labels also have the “American Doughnut Collection” notation. We’re not sure why, since this is clearly a Canadian Club promotion. Does anyone out there know? | ||
