The first Beach Boys re-issues on the Starline-label were released in mid 1965. Until January 1967 re-issues would appear on this green swirl label - a variation on the regular orange swirl label.
Only two pressing plants are known to have pressed these green swirl Starline pressings: Scranton (Pennsylvania) and Los Angeles (California). Ths singles either have the AIM triangle or Anvil notation for Scranton or the star (*) notation for L.A.. Another difference between these plants is the serial number; on the Scranton issues it is stamped in the deadwax, whereas on the L.A.-issues it is usually etched by hand (although the * symbol looks like it is a stamped impression).
The company sleeve that was used for these re-issues was a horizontal blue-white lined design, with a repeating STAR LINE (white bordered) mentioned on the blue lines.
