STARLINE - The Beach Boys on 45
USA Starline Light Green label (promo) |
|
In 1967 3 promo 45's were released on the Starline-label. The pressings shown here were all made in the Los Angeles (California) pressing plant. It is not known if this plant was the only one that made these promo issues. Of course we'd love to be proven otherwise...
The company sleeve that was used for these re-issues was most probably a plain whit sleeve, but if a printed sleeve was used it would probably be a red sleeve with 2 white circles. On top the (new) Starline logo is shown; in the red and white (inner) ring is mentioned "The biggest hits by the brightest stars" and "SUPER OLDIES" respectively. Also shown is the Capitol dome-logo.
